Aries Season 2025

Aries season feels potent, and we’re about 10 minutes in. March has already delivered us some intense cosmic energy with Venus cozily retrograde, Mercury beginning it’s backspin period, and oh yeah… it’s eclipse season. If you can’t feel the fire, you’re not close enough?

Fire brings change, and as a Cardinal sign, Aries season shows us our inner fire: how we initiate, lead, take action, dive in using yang (active) energy

The way we can use astrology, is similar to how we make sense of a weather forecast. If the sun is going to be out in full force, sun protection and maybe warmer clothing will make for more comfortable navigating in the world. Similarity, as the Sun moves out of Pisces, and into Aries, we begin to look at coming out of our slow, winterized, yin period, and embracing more activity and warmer days.

As a soul who has recently begun to honor the natural new year, this all checks. It was four years ago next month that I started my home business in Washington. Perfect use of initiating energy. A few years prior, I was deep in Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra training - let me just tell you I now recognize the conflicting energies of learning a slow, reflective practice in an fast, action-packed season. To make sense of it all and yield it wisely, one must truly know how to embody both sides of the wisdom. (didn’t at the time, but definitely do now. rock on!)

This season, as a new Illinois resident, I’ll be project managing a renovation on a home my family and I recently purchased. As I write this, I’m reflecting on our last home renovation, and perhaps how much the season influenced our design choices: dark green cabinets, blue siding, darker hardwood floors (which started during a yin-ful Pisces Season) But this time around, I’m feeling drawn to brighter, warmer colors: yellows, bright oranges and magentas. Perhaps it’s proper use of the energy - but is it right for such a large investment? Stay tuned!

March 27th - Venus dips back into Pisces (currently retrograde)

Depending on where Pisces resides in your chart, we still are reviewing the things we love from the lens of transmuting what is working, and also no longer working.
- For me, Pisces energy is all about spirituality, learned wisdom/higher education, publishing and travel. We’ve been so dialed into building the foundation of our new world in Evanston, that we’re all feeling the effects of not embracing other places.

March 30th - Neptune moves into Aries (THIS IS BIG!)

Neptune is a sloooooooooow moving planet (165 year orbit) giving delusion, illusion, dreams, spiritual consciousness, and unity to our world. It moves out of yin-fully trained Pisces Season into a 14 year residence in Aries. Here’s how you can start understanding the energy and integrating the wisdom
